How to download data from Datarock Platform?

Downloading Outputs from Datarock Core

There are two ways to download data from the Datarock Platform:

🔶 From Project View – Recommended for downloading one, many, or all drill holes at once.

🔷 From Drill Hole View – Useful for downloading a specific output, from a specific hole.

⚠️ Note: Downloads from the Drill Hole View are limited to the outputs available in each tab (e.g. Depth Registration outputs are only available within the Depth Registration tab). To get all outputs for a drill hole, you'd need to repeat this process across multiple tabs. Because of this limitation, we recommend using the Project view approach.

🔶 Step-by-step: Downloading from Project View

1. Log in to your Datarock account. Once logged into your Project.

2. Select one, multiple or all drill holes within Project View.

🌀 Tip: To select multiple drill holes, you can click on the first one you wish to select, hold shift key, and select the last one you wish to select, and all the drill holes in between will be select as well.

3. Click on the ‘Downloads’ drop down located on the top right, and a menu will be displayed with all the options enabled for your subscription, relevant to the selected drill holes.

4. Select the output/s you wish to download.

5. Click on the download icon.

6. You’ll receive an email at your registered email address, with the output/s’ links for all the selected drill holes, to download the relevant output csvs.

⚠️ Note: Download links expire after 24 hours; if they expire, you’ll need to repeat the download process.

🔷 Step-by-step: Downloading from Drill Hole View

1. Log in to your Datarock account and open your Project.

2. Click on the drill hole you wish to download outputs for.

3. Navigate to the relevant tab: Data Manager, Preprocessing, Depth Registration or Results.

4. On the top right of each tab, you will see a ‘Downloads’ drop down.

5. Depending on the tab:

- Data Manager and Preprocessing: Only one output available.
- Depth Registration and Results: Multiple output types available. Select the one/s you need.

5. Click on the download icon.

6.You’ll receive an email, at your registered email address, with the output/s’ links for all the selected drill holes, to download the relevant output csvs.
